Hogtunes Inc, the premier audio related supplier to the powersports industry announces that Mike “Pez” Pesdirz, Owner of the Hogtunes and Metrix Audio brands has purchased the Kawasaki Vaquero® project bike that was built for 4-Time Supercross Champion, Ryan Villopoto.
The bike will travel with Parts Canada to all of the major motorcycle shows across Canada where you will have a chance to see it in person. At the end of the tour, the bike will be auctioned off, with 100% of the proceeds going to a local cancer charity campaign called “Radio for Radiation”. Two radio stations, KICX 106 and 104.1 The DOCK, have pledged to raise $500,000 to support the new Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre (SMRCC), and the auction is expected to bring the campaign very close to its goal.
Mike “Pez” Pesdirz, owner of Hogtunes, commented, “the “Radio for Radiation Campaign” is raising funds that will go towards the purchase of a new CT simulator suite. The addition of a new CT Simulator suite in the new SMRCC will allow people in Orillia, Midland, Barrie and all of Simcoe County to get treatment close to home, instead of the current situation, which sees many patients experiencing the additional cost, wait and disruption of going to Toronto for treatment.
