Contest Rules
The Contest begins on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”).
The winning entry will be drawn within 10 days of the contest closing date.
The winner of the contest will be contacted within 15 days of the contest closing date.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to all residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry, except employees (and those with whom such employees are domiciled) of Rawhyde Adventurers (the “Sponsor”), Motorcycle Mojo, their affiliated companies or agents, advertising and promotion agencies.
HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To participate in this Contest you must:
Have a valid Motorcycle License and have reached the age of majority in your province at the time of contest closing.
Be a Canadian Resident (excluding Quebec).
Go to www.motorcyclemojo.com/contest/tickettoryde to fill out and submit your entry form.
BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR ENTRY (INCLUDING YOUR NAME AND PICTURE) IF YOU WIN, MAY BE POSTED ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS INCLUDING FACEBOOK AND/OR SPONSORS PROPRIETARY WEBSITE, WHERE IT MAY BE VIEWED, SHARED (BY USERS OF INTERNET-BASED SITES) AND COMMENTED ON BY THE SPONSOR AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND WILL BE USED IN PRINTED MATERIAL BY MOTORCYCLE MOJO AND RAWHYDE ADVENTURES AND THEIR AFFILATES.
Entrant also agrees that his/her information may be used by Motorcycle Mojo and Rawhyde Adventures for purposes of contacting for promotions, general information or special offers from time to time. You may opt out after initial contact if you wish.
CONTEST WINNER
Winner will be determined by random, electronic draw of the entries from those submitted on the Motorcycle Mojo contest url.
Before being declared the WINNER, the Winner must first correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone.
Selected entrant will be contacted by phone and email, and will be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility and a liability/publicity release, which:
a. confirms compliance with the Contest Rules;
b. releases the Sponsors, its affiliated companies and advertising and promotion agencies, the Contest judges and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with the Contest, the entrant’s participation therein and/or the awarding and use or misuse of the prize or any portion thereof; and
c. grants to the Sponsors (Motorcycle Mojo and Rawhyde Adventures) the right to use the selected entrant’s name, address and likeness in any form of advertising relating to the Contest without further notice or compensation.
If a selected Finalist: (i) cannot be contacted within three (3) attempts or (ii) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; or (iii) fails to return the declaration of eligibility and a liability/publicity release within the specified time; or if there is a return of any notification as undeliverable, then he/she will be disqualified and forfeit his/her opportunity to be the Winner.
The Sponsors, at their sole and absolute discretion, may select a new Winner randomly from the other submissions.
PRIZES
There will be one prize awarded which includes but may not be limited to:
· Roundtrip airfare to California
· Three nights accommodation at Rawhyde Adventure Training Facility
· Two days of training “Intro to Adventure Camp”
· Pre-camp clinic
· BMW Bike Rental
· Meals prepared by Cordon Bleu trained chefs
· All beverages
· Riding gear
· Followed by a two-day adventure through the Mojave Desert to Base Camp Alpha
Approximate value of prize: $3750.
Prize has no cash value and must be accepted as awarded.
THE FINE PRINT
Sponsors reserves the right to cancel, suspend, withdraw or amend this Contest in any way, without prior notice or obligation, in the event of an error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsors that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest.
Winner must be able to accept Adventure Training prize within 8 months of winning or another entry will be pulled.
Chances of winning are dependent upon number of entries received by close of contest entry period.
Winner is responsible for purchasing his or her own medical insurance for the endurance of this Adventure.
The Sponsors reserve the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Sponsors – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification):
for the purposes of verifying an individual’s eligibility and legitimacy of winning this contest or for any other reason the Sponsor deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this Contest in accordance with these Rules. Failure to provide such proof to the satisfaction of the Sponsor in a timely manner may result in disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsors.
Without limitation, the Sponsors, its advertising and promotion agencies and the Contest judges will not be liable for any failure of the website during the Contest; for any technical malfunction or other problems relating to the telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; for the failure of any Entry to be received by the Sponsors, its advertising and promotion agencies or the Contest judges for any reason including, but not limited to, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or any combination of the above. Further, the Sponsors, its advertising and promotion agencies and the Contest judges will not be liable for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading any material in the Contest.
By entering this Contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Sponsors, (Motorcycle Mojo and Rawhyde Adventures) its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her Entry for the purpose of administering the Contest and promotions afterwards. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by facebook or any other social media outlets.
THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY CANADIAN LAW AND THE LAWS OF THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO. PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES YOUR FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE OF, AND AGREEMENT TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY, THESE CONTEST RULES.
