The Central Alberta section of the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group is pleased to inform you that we will be hosting our 12th annual Vintage Motorcycle Rally in Ponoka Alberta on the weekend of July 25,26, and 27,2008.

Our rally is probably the largest vintage motorcycle rally in Western Canada and draws rallyists from all western provinces as well as the Northwestern United States. Bikes appearing on a regular basis include such famous names as Vincent, Velocette, and Manx Norton. In addition we see a wide selection of other British, European, Japanese and American motorcycles, including Laverdas, Guzzis, Indians and various forms of Harley Davidsons. Needless to say our parade is both a visual and aural spectacle.

This year, we will be celebrating '60 Years of Honda 1948-2008' and welcome all riders, members and nonmembers ,old bikes and new, all makes and models, to come out and enjoy our festivities.

The rally will be held as always at the Ponoka Fairgrounds, which includes free campsites (no hookups), showers and washroom facilities and a sheltered grandstand to park your bikes. Registration fees of $30.00 Cdn. includes a Friday night chili supper, Saturday night steak bbq, Sunday breakfast as well as doorprizes and participation in various activities of skill and fun.

The Town of Ponoka is centrally located off Highway 2 between Edmonton and Calgary.

We sincerely invite you to our rally to celebrate vintage motorcycling with us.

For further information, you can contact me by email at kgruschin@hotmail.com or by telephone at 1 403 340 3737, or through our website at www.cavmg.com.
