Tsk, tsk. Lucifer's Hammer is a 1977 science fiction novel that was nominated for the Hugo Award (science fiction writing) for Best Novel in 1978. Essentially it's about surviving the "Hammerfall", a comet's impact on earth - a scenario many would equate with the end of time. Our use of the ambiguous name stems from the obvious. Lucifer being another name for the Diavel (the devil) and Hammer, for what this motorcycle is like to ride - and for what it's done for contemporary motorcycle design. There's nothing that Paul Smart about it.
