A lot of you that are more computer literate than me are using prior quotes with parenthesis in that box. Stupid question, but how do I do that?? Help please.

Thanks

I have used that button, but the post comes out looking like this. On second thought, it does work. Thanks Gerhard.

Brilliant explanation Gerhard. It's amazing how just a quick graphic can save 100 carefully selected words.

One word of caution when using the quote feature. You can edit the text within the quote markers
and [/ QUOTE], but make sure that you don't disturb those markers or none of it will work. (Note: the space I placed in front of the second quote shouldn't be there.)

Marconi, when you look at this post (http://www.motorcyclemojo.com/forum/showthread.php?134-Misti-Here-Feel-free-to-ask-questions....&p=1231&viewfull=1#post1231) that you created, you'll be able to see that you must have accidentally deleted the first quote marker
.

That's exactly what happened, only not by accident, I didn't think it needed to be there. Duh! Thanks for the help.

So why am I sweating out all these @#$%^**! words when it can all be done by one swift graphic? Do you know something which I have yet to discover? Do you think I should flog this stinkin' word processor and buy a Walmart camera? And spend the difference on a bottle of booze?

What else? Tell me the secret.

Not a Wally World camera, a "smart" phone. You know the one. It takes pictures, orders food, keeps track of your e-bay account, sends rude pictures to Aunt Millie and delivers the aforementioned, (virtual?) bottle of booze. You can even get annoying phone calls at dinner time trying to sell you pizzas. :)

Cute, I like it. I wonder if it would work for me too?

And you can't always get your drugs on street corners, which is why I fly to South America twice a year.

You can trust that every word appearing in a quote balloon is an exact copy of the post being quoted.

So that must mean that I have a lifetime subscription, I just hope that I will have enough lucid moments to be able to appreciate what is written.
