What Bikes would you like to see in Canada

Im curious, what bikes would you like to see come to Canada? I know I have a few Ide like to see here Past and present. The Honda 750 Africa Twin comes to mind as does the Honda CB400F. How about yours?

A retro-styled 400 with the weight and dimensions of the current crop of 250s. However, the problem is - and always has been - cost. It's very difficult for the manufacturers to bring such a model into Canada without charging more for it than people would expect to pay. We typically equate small displacement machines with budget prices; would you pay $10k for a 400? Kawasaki did a cost-compromise by stuffing a 400 cc engine into an existing 650 chasis. Nice bike, but it weighs exactly the same as the 650, which sort of defeats the purpose of wanting a smaller machine in the first place.

I was a bit disappointed in the Kawi 400 too. Ide rather have seen a bored out 250 than a sleeved down 650.

It's a lot more than just a sleeved 650; actually, it's a very nice engine. The Ninja 400R is exactly what you'd hope a 400 would be, except for its weight - and maybe its size. But I fully understand your point. We know the 400s we really want exist, but the cost of bringing them here is a serious roadblock.

The Honda NT700V. It arrived in the US this year and I hope it is here next year. I am considering downsizing from my ST1100 and this bike looks like the perfect option.

They already brought the NT to Canada in 88 and 89 this one is serial number one of 1989. But yes I feel the NT700 would be a great seller. Having done some sales..... Ive found that some Goldwing riders as they get on in years are opting for lighter easier to handle bikes.

Not sold anywhere but I think Yamaha should build a TW400.

Also, Suzuki really needs to bring these to Canada...the GSX 1400

I agree - Honda NT700V. Perfect size around town yet capable for a weekend tour.
