    Reevu helmet

    Hey Mojo-dojo-ers,

Anyone tried out a Reevu helmet? Mojo published a piece a while ago saying what they were and that they were being released in Europe. Saw one listed for sale a few months back on craigslist toronto. Said it was a demo model.

I wonder with checking both mirrors, shoulder checks, seeing everything else around, speedo checks, while being conscious of the feel and sound of our bikes then adding somewhere else to look (in this case up), if this would throw us off, or would it quickly become second nature?

We've been dealing with the importer of that particular helmet for well over a year now. They keep asking when we'll write about it - we keep asking them when they'll send us one to review. They seem to think that we'll publish a review without actually testing it, but that's not how we roll. Hopefully they'll be able to get their act together and ship us one soon, because this is really a product that needs extensive testing to find if the claims being made about it have any merit.

I just looked on the website and it looks interesting in a gimmicky sort of way. Having spent years with less than usefull rear view mirrors I am intriegued to say the least. The video says they want 600 euros for it though. I'm thinking for that kind of dough I would want someone else to test it out first, or buy me one to test out. (No, I'm not suggesting anything here, just sayin'). That price is in league with the Schuberth or the new Shoei modular. I'm not against paying that for a helmet but I would want to know what I was getting before risking my own cash. In other words I hope they do get their act together and ship you one soon.
