The viewing format of the forum seems to have changed. Is this true or is it something either I or my computer did? I wouldn't be surprised if that is true actually, some strange things have been going on with my machine lately. If it was something I did what was it and what can I do about it?

I'm not sure what you are seeing, but the format with my screen is slightly different as well and I have not changed my settings.
Currently the first button (Mojo Home Page) on the bar at the top has been shifted to the row below where it now appears behind the "New Posts" line. Everything else looks about the same.

Couple of things puzzle me about this as well. When I click on "Mojo Home Page" I don't get redirected back to the home page, it opens up a new page entirely and starts from scratch, leaving the previous "Forum" page unchanged. Also, if there is a picture in a posting to be viewed, I can't see it unless I log in. So I just move on and don't bother to log in. I don't see logging in as being relevant if I've no intention of making a contribution to the postings. Cheers. Herb.

I haven't been able to look as I am at work. Of course everything is fine from here. All the stuff that used to be horozontal before on my machine at home had gone virtical and moved down the left side of the screen. The listings also used up about half the screen each. I'm still partly convinced it is something I did with the mouse without knowing what it was. I was able to view the posts normally. Also the path, (navigation), line dissappeared. I am on dial up at home and I sometimes fill up the mouse buffer because the connection is moving so slowly.

The Mojo Home Page link takes you to the main (home) page of the Mojo website. Since this forum is a sub-section of the Mojo website, the link is a quick and handy way to jump out of the forum.
If you want to jump to the main forum menu, click on the Forum link to the right of Mojo Home Page. There are other quick ways to navigate around the forum like using the Quick Navigation drop-down menu at the bottom of each page, or by using the page tree at the top of each thread.
This is completely normal and a practice used by most forums around the world. Ever heard of the phrase "membership has its privileges"? By logging in you're proving that you're a member and are entitled to view everything within the forum. Logging in shouldn't be considered a hassle; just select the Remember Me box next time you log in and you'll be automatically logged in every time you visit the forum (providing you're using the same computer).
OK. From home everything is back to normal. I dunno, maybe I need to get more sleep.
