OK, I'm interested. How well will they work as illumination to augment the rather wimpy headlight on my Lightning? Extra visibility is great but I like to be able to see better at night too.

    Hi BL,

These lights are rated at 600lm per lamp. They will give bikes excellent visibility lighting in a very small/light package. Being rated at 600 lumens, it is up to the individual owner as to how much is enough or even too much. A lot of folks like these lamps for a few reasons:1) they are small and light, 2) have a controller that will sense when the bike is running and turn the lights on automatically so no switch is required (if that's how you wire them... direct to battery or fuseblock) 3) and for $119 for the pair are very affordable.

If they aren't enough light output for you and you are still looking at LED lighting but more for illumination purposes, then I would advise checking out all our Fenix lights. Aside from these mentioned units, we have F1500 (spots), F2000(floods), and even F3600(floods) lumens LED lights (thats PER light!!). We sell them per light as some purchase them in pairs..... some purchase as single lights to replace their headlamps. These suckers light up your surroundings! They all use CREE chips....... Q5s for the F1500s, XPG R5s for the F1500s and XML T6s for the F3600 lamps.

We also sell a pair of F4 LED lamps that are the most rugged LED lamps on the market (you can drive a truck over them) and are a 2" x 2" package. These are great lamps for large touring bikes and especially the large adventure bikes that put their bikes through hell and back and want a lamp that can withstand abuse.

You can check them all out on our site under BRAND..... FENIX.....
