On May 7, Flat Track Canada announced that Harley-Davidson would be the Title Sponsor for the 2018 National Championship Series.
The long-term OEM sponsor, Harley-Davidson is expanding it’s support for the 2018 race season and is now the series Title Sponsor. Since the 1920’s Harley-Davidson has been involved in the sport – the XR750 currently holds the record as the most award-winning motorcycle in motorcycle racing history. “It is an honour to unite the long history of flat track racing to the roots and heritage of the Harley-Davidson brand in a way that will positively propel the development of the sport in Canada”, stated Aaron Hesmer, president, Flat Track Canada.
Karen Mayberry, from Harley-Davidson Canada said, “This partnership allows us to further encourage the dreams and aspirations of Canadians in the motorcycle industry, supporting freedom of riding and the close bonds of camaraderie based on the love of this sport.”
