If you’re looking for some new rubber this season check out the new additions to the Michelin lineup.

Meeting the needs from track to street Michelin has revised its entire sport tire offering and has launched four new motorcycle models: Michelin Power 5,  Power GP,  Power Cup 2 and Power Slick 2.

Michelin supports a growing network of trackside distributors and installers across the country that carry the full range of race, trackday and DOT sport bike tires.

Power 5: The premium sportbike tire for maximum fun in wet and dry conditions, designed for sport and sport touring motorcycles.

Power GP: The 50/50 track day tire with extraordinary wet and dry grip, designed for riders who occasionally end up on the track but want a tire that will last the season.

Power Cup 2: Designed for track use but approved for the road, Michelin boasts that you’ll improve your track times with this high end tire.

Power Slick 2 tire: Full dedicated track tire using the same technology as the Power Cup 2 to help improve track times and deliver extraordinary grip. This tire is easy to use and doesn’t require specific adjustments to the motorcycle as well as offering rapid warm-up during use.

“As the official tire supplier for MotoGP™, Michelin is thrilled to provide an entire new range of sportbike tires for the track and street,” said Shane Messner, director of two wheel for Michelin North America. “The new Power lineup caters to riders of all levels, whether they are looking for excellent wet grip and durability, or faster lap times.”
